Mission style coffee table/nail polish.. ugh!

HELP!!

My daughter spilled nail polish remover on my new
mission style oak coffee table. After she wiped it off, it stripped off the clear finish and left a mess.
Now the surface is rough and unappealing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. S. Jones
