Cat urine on wood furniture

You mention that you need detail. This is a pickled pine dresser with a smooth top. Our female, spayed cat has urinated on the top and I cannot remove the odor so that she does not repeat the act. This is a distressed wood and pine so it is relatively porous. I would appreciate any help you can give me on this.
