    Re: Gun Stock Water Mark?

The water mark is white and quite opaque. I unknowingly created it with steam while trying to remove dents.

I've tried removing with alcohol, naptha and polishes with no affect.

Why will Elixir work? Product cost and shipping fees make it an expensive experiment if not successful...

    Thanx again,
    Bob

: There is more than one type of water mark. If
: the water mark is light, then it is in the
: finish and can be solved with Wood Elixir.
: If it is dark, the finish must be removed
: then the wood must be bleached, restained
    : and refinished.
