I bought an Ethan Allen dining set and I am looking for an option on the table top finish. It has minor marks and surface scratches on it and don't know what my best options are. Whether attempting to refinish it or trying some type of liquid solution to try to buff it out. The table has a beautiful shine to it, minus what I mentioned above. The surface scrathes are actual indentaions on the surface that are not severe, but they are noticeable enough. I read the article where you suggested moisture, but is this before any sanding or after? What would it do to the surface if I added steam? Like would it ruin the shiny surface and worsen my problems? Please advise!
