    Mold on Antique Furniture

I have mold on all antique wood furniture in my home also on the undersides and backsides of newer furniture. We are in the process of mold remediation. Some of the antique furniture still has mold visiable from areas where the furniture was put together and has spread again over the furniture. My question is: are there some porous woods that are unable to clean. I do not wish to alter the finish on the antique furniture.
