Dear Sir: First of all, what is with the "probably warm, as well" She assumed they were still a little damp, as she had rinsed them and towel dried same....come on, how warm could they be at that time? I have been restoring and refinishing furniture for over 30 years now and I am always learning new things and want to learn even more. That is why I was so interested in this web site. I would love to find a miracle worker such as this web site describes. I do have reservations however, after hearing that response. Did you personally develop this exlixir? Or, since it is not sold in the USA, are you "THEIR" one and only distributor of this product. I would seriously like to hear back from you. Thank you Sandi Lee Lee's Furniture Restoration Conyers Ga
--Previous Message-- : : And the cups were probably warm as well. : The marks you describe are typical of a : shellac finish and are easily solved with : Wood Elixir. : The refinishers you spoke to do not know : about Wood Elixir because it is not sold : in the USA. : --Previous Message-- : I was remodeling my kitchen and had put a : couple bone china coffee cups on my : rosewood dining room table. I guess they : were still a little damp (I had rinsed : them off and towel dried them). I just : moved them (they've been there a couple : days) and there are 2 horrendous WHITE : rings. One is just a ring- the other is a : ring and has white in the ring as well. I : tried the toothpaste/baking soda remedy : but to no avail. Should I just succumb to : having it refinished or is there truly : something that will work? Thanks. : : :
