I have a 16th century side table with very intriquite design. The wood is Mahogony and has brass beading along the edges. The hand carved design is stained balck from years of sitting in various garages, and has some water damage. What I'm looking for is sugestions on how to clean the carved designe without breaking it. What's the best product to use and what are your suggestions for sanding rough edges in this same designe? Some of the areas are quite small and a tight fit.
