Hi Caren,
Can you describe the marks a little more?
Have the paw prints have discolored the buffet, or does it look like a difference in sheen? Is the finish still smooth, or is it rough where the prints are?
I have a little furry rascal myself, and Wood Elixir is certainly been helpful to have around the house when you have pets! (I get a lot of surface scratches on one particular table from her claws)
: I have cat paw marks on the tops of my furniture that I can not get off, I've tried several cleaners and polishers but they won't come off. I even tried elbow grease with a nylon covered sponge. One of the pieces is an old Buffet and I am not sure what the top finish is and the other is,I think varnish, and the other probably a varathane of some sort.
: I'm thinking they are as a result of the clumping cat litter I use for her but I am not sure, which has left a residue on her paws. It could also just be the oils in her paws.(she gets on these pieces at night when I have no control).
: Any help in this regard would be very much appreciated.
