Yes, you can use Wood Elixir to remove the rest of the candle wax. Simply pour a small amount of Wood Elixir onto a cloth and rub until the wax is removed, then buff with a clean cloth.

: I had a candel on mantel which melted on to my mantel when the firepalce was lit.
: Candel was a red and pink flower with green leaves, when the fire was on it melted and socked into to the mantel top.
