Our rosewood veneer dining room table was covered by a vinyl quilted table pad for a long time (maybe 5 yrs) undisturbed. Today I was aghast to see that the green material that is the underside of the pad has worn off and parts of the green stuff has adhered to the table, but these came off when we used Wood Preen. Worst thing is the grid pattern of the guilting is now on the table! Also, there're some grayish white spots all over too. Neither of these came off with the Wood Preen. The original teak/rosewood oil we bought with the table has dried up. Would Wood Elixir work to remove the white spots and grids? If so, can we buy this at a Home Depot or Woodworkers Warehouse? Thanks!
