i have a fairly new bedroom set (13 yrs old) and the finish has become rough...seems like the finish is lifting/ but is not allagatored. if i try to shine it with wax and i scrub for days i can bring the shine back. would wood elixer work on this problem? i am very afraid of damaging the finish as i think it is one of those modern glazed finishes and just kind of rests on top of the cherry wood. this is the only piece in the set that has this problem. if your product won't work, what will?
