: we recently purchased a bedroom and dining room set of Burlinton furniture from a show home. The pieces are all stained Maple. We found that when we open the drawers there is an odor, kind of mix between mothballs and stain finish products. What can we do to take that odour out. We have aired the pieces out for two weeks but nothing seems to help. Thanks!!!

Go to a locale store and purchase some wood shavings or cedar chips/pieces. You will not be able to use the drawers for several weeks. Once the odor has subsided leave a few cedar blocks or find a small cedar rree and cut it down and cut it in small pieces. Leave the cedar in the drawers this will not only keep the drawers smelling good but will keep away the moths.
Let me know how this words nba53@comporium.net
