heavy duty glue damage

I used a heavy duty glue to stick a felt material on the bottom of a flower pot to protect my table. Thinking the glue would dry fast but instead it went thru the material and stuck on the table. Now, I have this ring on my table (damage looks like a white burnt effect)and I don't know how to fix it. I think it is made of mahogany. Thank you.
