carefully chip off heavy wax deposits. Place a warm iron on top of a blotter or any absorbent material, change blotter often to avoid re-distribution of wax. With a soft cloth and a ffew drops of lighter fluid or varsol carefully rub off any left over spots. If any wax is left in the open pores of the oakwood clean out with tooth picks. Should work Good luck!
