The door has shelac on both sides and lots of detail around the door panels. The door was used as an exterior door. One side is almost black in color and one side is a beautiful tan. Is there any way to restore the black side of the door to its natural color without losing the detail around the panels? Using sand paper would remove the intricate detail work. Any suggestions??
