Some Neutrogena Astringent was accidentally spilled on the top of a small chest of drawers. This caused the finish to turn whitish looking, whereas the original finish is medium-dark brown. This piece could be from the 40's to early 60's. The astringent has 2% salicylic acid and 45% alcohol, witch hazel, certain plant extracts and propylene glycol and a few other ingredients. Do you think your product would repair the damaged finish?
