I have a coffee table that has been completely stripped. After stripping there were tiny little black specks all over, so a wood bleach was use. While the black spots are not longer there, the table now has dark spots - a very uneven variation of color. Sanding has not helped - the wood tone itself now appears light and dark. The table will be stained with and "pecan" color, but the stains are more of a dark oak. I'm not sure what type of wood it is -- is there any way to "even" the color before staining? Thank You
