stains on solid oak dresser from felt protectors on bottom of lamp

I recently purchased two new lamps for my solid oak bedroom dresser. After a day or so I noticed that there were four dark stains on the dresser from the felt on the bottom of the lamp. Tried to remove with ordinary furniture polish( the stains are not coming out. ) Can your product be of any help? i appreciate your response.
