    very bad smell

    Hi there
My Queen Anne Buffet has a sweet/musty smell which is quite sickening. I can't smell it so much when the buffet cupboard is closed, but everytime I open the doors, I can smell this quite strongly...
Perhaps this too is mold or mildew, but unfortunately I was not aware of this previously, so I painted the inside of the buffet, in hopes that whatever was causing the smell would be sealed in by the latex paint. (!!! really silly, I know) Anyway, the smell is STILL there, and has almost seemed to become stronger...could this still be mold or mildew? If so, would you recommend using the same solution over the paint?
    Thanks!
