I don't know what medium is used in fabric glue and I don't know the type of finish is is stuck to but, there are three possiblities: 1)Wood Elixir will dissolve or soften the glue sufficiently to remove it, 2) Wood Elixir will weaken the bond between the glue and the finish allowing for removal with a blade, and 3) Wood Elixir will not remove it but will help restore finish after removal with an abbrasive such as fine sand paper being carefull not to damage the finish.
