    teak dining set

I have a 30-year old teak dining table and chairs that have seen many years of use . . . including children's school projects . . . the wood has darkened and dried out due to cleaning with water and various other cleaners/polishes throughout the years. I don't think refinishing is the way to go, but is there a way to restore the teak from which this dining set is made? Your recommendations would be great!! Thanks.
