    Cawell-Runyan chest

    Hello,

Recently I found a Caswell-Runyan chest in the basement of my parents home. It belonged to the previous owners of this house and has just been sitting in my basemen since they bought the house 30 years ago. The state of this piece it horrible, however I would like to restore it. It looks like a wonderful piece and I think it would be such a waste to throw it out.

Two of the legs are missing, the base board is split in half, the entire thing is all scratched up. Any advice on how I may begin to restore it??

    Thank you,
    Kathy
