Finish after restoration Posted by Terry O'Connell on 5/2/2002, 1:02 pm 204.86.50.15 I treated the top of an old cedar chest that was scratched, flaking and water stained. The color came back beautifully. The surface is smooth but, the finish ended slightly less glossy than the rest of the chest. I want to make the finish a little shinier. What would you recommend.
