    Mildew is a living organism and must be killed to stop it. There are a number of chemicals which will accomplish this but most will also harm either the finish or the wood. Wood Elixir, on the other hand, will not only kill and remove the bacteria but it will seal and protect the wood to prevent a reoccurance.
