    Dribbled Paint

Too bad we didn't meet sooner. The paint dribbles could have been removed with Wood Elixir while retaining the old finish. Now the answer is to remove the rest of the finish from the top only and match the color to the base and apply a new finish to the top.

: My husband's grandmother gave us an old pine
: table with paint dribbled all over it. I
: was told I would need to sand the piant
: off, which I did. So, now the table has a
: splotchy finishon top. The remainder of
: the table is in good condition and I like
: the finish. Do I strip the remainder of
: the top finish and try to match the finsh
: on the rest of the table with a new one,
: or do I strip the whole table?
: Wish I'd done some reserach to find-out about
    : some of these products!
    : Thanks,
