Spot of finish rubbed off on dresser drawer Posted by Cathy on 3/22/2002, 7:23 am 205.188.195.183 I was trying to remove a spot on my dresser using steel wool and rubbed the finish off along with it. It no longer has a shine to it on that spot. Is this fixable without refinishing the whole dresser? It is an oak dresser.
