    It is possible to refinish it yourself but it will be a lot of work. First of all, the upholstery must be taken off. To relpicate a Pecan faux finish actually requires three colors of paint each applied with a technique. Most paint stores have books describing how to do faux finishes. It will not be inexpensive both in materials and time. It might be a practical option to sell this set and buy a pecan one.
