IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE COLOR, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STIP IT. JUST WASH IT WITH PAINT THINNER, SCUFF THE SURFACE LIGHTLY WITH 320 GRIT SAND PAPER AND PAINT IT WITH A NEW LACQUER FINISH. SPRAY IS BEST.
