    I sure you want the easy way, so I'll tell you that first. I'll assume that there's a finish on the table. With the edge of a credit card, scrape off as much wax as you can. Wipe with a few drops of Wood Elixir. Buff.

    If you don't have Wood Elixir, then use paint thinner. This will remove the wax resudue & leave the finish dull but it can be brightened with wax polish.
