My question for you doctor : is I just bought a pine coffee table : (rustic) and it is made in mexico. It : looked all good in the store and now I got : it home (Alberta,Canada) and it has in : less than a week cracked on the sides and : top and the top is now warping. I was told : that : its the heat in my place (Top floor : apartment) yes it is warm in here and its : the middle of winter in Alberta, but : "It was made in mexico" How : could it be any warmer here than there. : Yes I know its dry here but really. I need : advice im told a couple of things 1. thats : what rustic things are supposed to do! Is : that true? Does rustic = broken? And Im : also told there is not much to do but let : it crack, is there anything you recomend. : I have a option to exchange it for the : same kind of table. Should I settle for : damaged goods or at least try to get a : better one?
