1. Even though I was told that a good product for old furniture is a combination of Linseed oil and Turpentine oil, I refuse to use it because, I have plenty of antiques (including some large pieces) and I am afraid of a fire hazard (due to the large quantity of furniture in my house). Is "Wood Elexir" FLAMMABLE? ---------------- 2. The furniture come from an area in France with an English type of weather (damp and rainy). They have just been shipped to Southern California (dry weather). Furthermore, they have not been taken care of, for 30 years (at least). What do you suggest that I do to NOURRISH the wood? (It truly has been starved for a few decades!!!) --------------- 3. An over 100 year old table (most likely made of chestnut wood) has a large BLACK BURNED STAIN on the top (the house was inoccupied and vandals burned pictures, papers etc... on top of the table to create light). It does not look like the wood itself has been scortched. What do you suggest? Thank you.
