Do I have to sand the original finish off and reapply a stain or is there any product which I could apply to the existing finish? Thank You

: The only way to darken the finish is to add a
: new finish which contains a tint to match
: the original finish. The color has
: dissapeared because the tint was in the
: finish and not the wood. Ultra violet
: light bleached the color to a lighter
: shade. It might be an option to expose the
: leaves to the sun until the color matches.
