Water on dining room table from ceiling bathroom overflow

Water fell from a ceiling light from a bathroom sink overflow on the second floor onto my wood dining room table. The surface has bubbled in the middle of the table in numerous spots. Any suggestions to repair/remove the bubbles. As yet there has been no discoloration. The accident occurred this morning.
