Water Mark on Walnut Veneer Posted by Brian Galka on 7/9/2001, 9:05 pm 142.165.70.19 Hi. I have a water mark on the top of an unfinished walnut veneer speaker cabinet. The stain is darker than the surrounding wood. I've tried using laundry bleach to lighten it, but it is still darker than the surrounding wood. The mark has been there about a week. Any suggestions?
